Inner Lectures Series
Reading continues beyond the page, in the way we see ourselves and understand others. Fragmented faces, books and interiors bring together unspoken thoughts, closeness and distance. Charcoal drawing and painted surfaces create a space in which inner life takes shape.
Memory of Places
Walls, windows and water hold traces of human presence. Architecture meets the human face, and places become filled with memories and expectations. Layered surfaces, broken outlines and reflections allow the past to remain visible within the image of the present.
What Made Me Series
In this series, I return to the experiences and relationships that have shaped me, to those invisible threads that continue to give me form. Motherhood, family, lifelong friendships, theatre, sport and my closeness to animals come together in my story and reappear in the works through figures, objects and gestures imbued with familiarity.
Each image holds a part of me, of the ways I have loved, grown, belonged and changed. Through art, I return to these traces and learn to look at myself more closely, to know myself more deeply.
Triptych
In ‘Windows of Memory’, ‘Backstage’ and ‘Same Direction’, I turn towards what time cannot erase, towards the roles through which we seek and recognise ourselves, and towards the people we choose to move forward with. Windows, faces and figures drawn close together connect the three works in a story of memory and belonging. The gaze begins in a fragmented space where echoes of the past remain, passes through the quiet encounter between the figures and finally rests on the simple, profound gesture of staying together.
